Amazing Spices: Spices have unique qualities and flavors. They come from many parts of the world and add amazing flavor to various cuisines. I will explore these spices, recipes and their alternative purposes in medicinal cures, household and beauty regimens. Growing up in an Indian household, I always helped my mom in the kitchen. I admired her colorful spice containers and how she’d sprinkle a dash of this and a pinch of that to make the most exotic tasting dishes. The entire house would fill up with the aroma of the spices and transport us to distant lands. To replicate this in my home, I have become passionate about researching recipes from cookbooks, online searches and the wealth of knowledge passed down from generations of friends and families that reveal the secret ingredients of their cooking masterpieces.
